I have a two bent wheels so I have decided to replace all of them. Not looking for a show piece or racing equipment. Something rugged that will handle so driving in the woods and pavement.

I dont jump any or race. Just ride to relax and to have fun.

But I do want the tires to last a while.

What is the best bang for the buck on tires/wheels

If you just want a strong wheel at a decent price, check out the Douglas .190 Red Labels. If you want something that looks a little better, the ITP .190 T-9 Grand Prix are pretty nice. They are a bit more expensive, though. As for tires, there are a lot to choose from. Maxxis Razrs are pretty popular, so is the ITP Holehots series and Kenda Klaws. Just depends on what type of terrain you're going to be riding on and how much you want to pay.

You should check out the RMATV Tire and Wheel Package Builder (http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/vehicleFilter.do?prevVehicleType=&prevMake=&prevModel=&keyword=&vehicleTypeId=1&make=&model=&year=&remVehProfile146=Remove&navTitle=Tires+and+Wheels&webCatId=8&navType=type&webTypeId=156&uri=%2FtypeDetail.do#vehicleSelect). They have a good selection and some of the best prices online. If you decided to buy from them, use the offer code "96639" for 10% off your order.

i find that the ITP Holeshot H-D tire is the best, hook up the best in almost anything, and even when they are worn baddly, they still hook up great.

Those are MX type tires. You want at least a 20" 4-ply rear tire for trails. Those MXR6s rears are 18" and 2-ply.

thats something i have never really wondered about or asked, whats the difference between 2-ply, 6-ply, and so on

Plies are layers of fabric or cord that give a tire shape and strength. More plies equal a stronger tire. 6-ply tires are the strongest but also the heaviest. That's why MX and sand tires are only 2-ply.

the number of "ply" is how many layers there are in tire 2 ply is like a MX tires, there extreamly light weight but sense there not many layers they would pop from normal trail riding with sticks and rocks and stuff then there is the more common 4 ply which is whats used by most people includuding myself and its good for trail riding cause there not to heavy and more than likly wont pop from terrain and then there is 6 ply which is heavy duty, heavey weight, but is lless likely to pop compared to the others.........and for thw tires themselves i am one of those holeshot hatters, i have had standard holeshots and holeshot HD's.....didnt like either one of them at all, but i LOVE my razrs and kenda claws are very good tires also

Haha I just went with the quick answer. I don't know why you would hate any of the Holeshots. I've never had a problem with my HDs. They do pack up a bit in the mud, but I rarely ever go through mud. I guess it just depends on where you ride. They are perfect for the desert terrain I ride in. I might go with the Ballance Razrs when it's time for some new rubber, though.

Hahhaha yep see were I ride and it gets muddy its real sticky sloppy mud and also our trails are covered in leaves like 100% of the year and they just don't cut it compared to my razrs

If you're looking for a really durable rim I do not recomend the ITP SS Alloy rims. I have them on mine because they came on it when I got my wheeler and I have a decent sized crack on one of my back rims. They have a lifetime warrenty and look really cool but they're just not very strong.

For a really good tire recomendation; ITP Holeshot HD's or Holeshot XCR's. Either the HD's and XCR's are amazing. 6 ply, and will hook up on anything and get you through any mud puddle. I have the HD's in front and XCR's in back

the itp baja rims hold up really well and are cheaper than beadlocks, around like 100 each
