Just picked up a warrior,first yamaha

It looks to be in great shape,no spark.

I have a few questions though.

Are these cdi's common to go out?
Should I look at the stator?

I also wanted to know about the wiring harness what all years swap out?


How do I tell the year of this bike?

I need to order a wiring harness off here used or eBay.Do not want to order the wrong one.

Then I will see if it is the wiring,stator,cdi or coil.
It ran great like 4 days ago,knew the guy.

Came with a few goodies.

DG nerf's,bumper,grab bar,moose bar clamp and front brake cover.

I bought it for a trail bike.

Don't think I will go wide or anything,might just toss on some mx6r's and call it a day.
