So I ordered a bunch of stuff a few weeks ago and got to start putting some of it on today. You can see what I bought here

http://www.exriders.com/vbb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=431459&highlight=shopping

Today I installed my PRM front and rear bumpers, Tusk nerfs with heel guards, renthal bars, odi rogue grips, and a Rox Dash. Everything went on really well, including the Tusk nerfs. The PRM rear grab bar bolts on with 4 u-bolts and with their locations I feel pretty safe with it. I did have to take a pry bar to the original rear grab bar but thats because the PO was a dumbass and apparently didn a bunch of wheelies and bent it up, which would also be why it may look a little cocked in the picture, but I got it a little straighter after that. On with the pics

Thanks, I still have to change the oil, adjust the valves, install my prm scoops and pro armor tether kill switch, and Im gonna re-jet the carb. I also cleaned the UNI filter today and installed an outerwears on it, I'm not sure what the PO did to this thing but that UNI was almost completely brown. Now its red again :D

You should wash it haha. Looks good, though. I like that bumper.

I do need to wash it, but it was crazy how much pollen it collected just in the few hours I had it out of the shed.

Yeah, I hate that. I've got a huge mulberry tree in the front yard. My blazer gets covered in pollen this time of year. Best part, I'm allergic to mulberry trees haha.

But that is the same bumper Wayne Matlock and Josh Caster use on their Baja TRX700XX. They said they love it.

Gah, that's such a sick bike. What I wouldn't do to have it...

I feel the same way about that 700xx. I would just love to feel so much power with such nice suspension.

On another note, prm's stuff looks like crap in the mags imo but the bumper looks pretty sweet mounted on the 400.

PRM's quality is top notch. All of the welds look great on the bumper and rear grab bar, and I feel confident enough with the front bumper to say if I hit anything hard enough to damage it then the 400 is gonna be my last concern on the way to the hospital.

In this picture, what is that part that holds the reverse/neutral lights?

I have been looking to get rid of this stock plastic crap thing for a while now since it doesn't fit right on my aftermarket bars it rattles like crazy.

That's a Rox Dash Panel (http://www.roxspeedfx.com/cgi-bin/cart/showitems.cgi?subcat_id=260). I just put them in the plastic that covers the gas tank. I'll be honest, I don't even use the lights. I just kept them for other people that ride my bike.

Yea well I should probably keep mine as well, my gf still can't get the "feel" for finding neutral quite yet.

Thanks for the info though man, definitely going to look into buying one of these!

I used to use the indicator for trying to find neutral after stalling in reverse. That could sometimes be annoying, especially when trying to do it in a hurry. Then I just clipped the reverse override wire which allows me to start in reverse. Now I don't use the indicators at all.

Yeah the rox dash is nice, I had to wait 2 weeks in order for them to restock and I ordered the first day it was back in stock.

So I figured I might as well just post this question in this thread...

I got one of the ROX dash panels. Quick question though, my neutral and reverse lights thing don't snap in and aren't secured in any way. Did I miss something or what?

How do you guys have yours secured?

You have to put the rubber boot in first then the light cover.

yup they are Tusk. Pretty sturdy, I weigh 190lbs and I can jump up and down on them and they don't budge.

PRM is a local company for me, and they are absolutely top notch as far as aluminum parts go. One of my good friends helped design that bumper actually and he probably built it too haha

Does anyone know if the Rox dash panel will work with a Houser steering stem?
