450 grab bar

i recently broke off my rear grab bar, before welding back on, i figured i would see what options i have. could i simply buy 450 grab bar mounts, weld them on, then all 450 bars will fit? has anyone attempted this?

not sure about the 450 ones but i know the 250r ones work good too. I would say that the 450 one should also bolt up with minimal additions to the mounts that are added. steve

on my old 400 after i broke the grab bar, i took some solid steel rod that barely fit in the sub frame and grab bar, and inserted it 3 or 4 inches in both sections and then welded it. it was a quick fix but i figured it was better than just welding it straight back. i stood it up a bunch of times and it never bent.

i got an 06 but havnt put it on yet. it looks like the 04-05 will work to.
