I bought a brand new Edelbrock carb for my 07 yfz and there is no way to mount the TPS on the carb. the manual that came with the new carb says its for my yfz but i dont know what to do about the TPS and im pretty sure the quad needs it to be hooked up to run. i need some serious help with this.

You don't need the tps just leave it unplugged it will run fine and you wont' have to worry about it messing up

on the honda 450 you do but not on the yfz. just unplug the tps from the carb. You might be thinking of the TORS. To get rid of that you hook the wires together.

on ktm you can't unplug or wire together the TPS without putting in a switch as it relies on a signal to the cdi to start it. You can get around it by putting the sx dirtbike cdi on it as they don't have a tps.

it wil run wired together or unplugged. Wired together is the wide open throtle program and unplugged is for the rest.
