Well bit the bullet. Traded the 400 in yesterday for something faster.

I love it. put about 8 hours in the saddle yesterday. plan on getting a 700XX next.

As popular as the 450's have become, I'm surprised to see the 400 is still the most popular forum.

As long as the dedicated 400 owners are still around it will be popular. I for one will stay with a 400 mainly cuz I have no need for a 450, would be nice to have one sure, but a 450 will never give me what my 400 has.

I was never into the 450's I was set on my 400ex until I realized I had the money and I found some great deals. The 400ex always felt so easy to ride and comfortable, I bought the 450r and it was a whole new thing to be spending hours seat time rather than a short ride on a buddies. I hated it and loved it at 1st. Handling was very odd/different and the power is a lot more but a lot less off idle. I got my *** kicked riding it the suspension felt so rough, tuned it a bit, got used to the handling and how the power comes in and I love the thing. I dont think I could switch back to a 400ex now. Nice bike though

Maybe I'm alone in not liking the 400ex to much. My girl and my dad have one and they feel like tanks to me. Maybe I'm just so used to riding my YFZ?

lol. Apparantly it's not getting unbanned... No biggie. I just feel there was no reason for it to be banned.
