so i need some help. i'am reassembling my engine. Had to split case to find a bolt that came out of the pawl lifter. found it I'm sure it was what keeping my trans from shifting out of 2nd and into 3rd. Any ways question i put trans into case with all the shift forks and gearshift cam the book seems very vague it says after all forks and shafts have been installed make sure that trans engages normally and set trans gear to nuetral position. how do i tell if the trans is in nuetral is there something i can see? spin the trans doesnt seem to turn freelly i mean everthing seems pretty loose without the half of case on. any help would be great thanks in advance this is 05 ltz 400
