a month ago someone had the dynos of all the stock quad the 250r stock was like 27 i think

my 275r i recently found out that was i just put hinson clutch on it high compression piston polished too with new 3-6 gear i think it has about 47 hp............

they make them it was just a guess on the hp................why i was saying 47 is cause it beat a raptor with a good rider with a pipe and jetted with a k&n with no arirbox lid and wheelspacers and i smaller front sprocket.............

hp doesnt really play a big part in "beating"" raptor is 34 stock maybe that worked one has 40-42 your r probaly has around the same

maybe but it is the fastest 250r i have ridden and i am not byist cause its my machine it honestly is.........................its skary fast compared to other 250's i have ridden...............but yes the box in my pro-x says high compression and it is too i can barely kik it over................

that could actually be true depending on his chainsaw you ever seen the stihl chainsaw competition on espn they have the modified class where these guys turn 250r motors into chainsaws good god those mofos fly they like go through a freakin 48" dia log in like split 2 seconds :huh

Hp readings on quads can be deceiving. Even your gearing and tire height can affect it. I would guess the R is around 30hp in stock form as I think stock vs. stock they can take a 400ex.
However I can count on one hand the number of completely stock 250r's I've seen.

Yeah I saw a show on TV where they did a demo with those. They also had one that was a small block chevy V8 and one that was a 426 hemi. Took two guys to lift it and about a second to whip through a 30" or so diamater log! Firewood, anyone?

throw a pipe on any R and it wakes the beast up dramastically!
also jumps up the HP a few too
