whats the best swing arm and how long for mx racing
and do i need a new link with the long travel rear shock?
has any one put the new yamaha 450r rear shock on the older 2006 yfz?

IMO i use GTThunder rear shock and linkage. also stock swingarms are alot lighter and seem to get the job done well. IMO extended swingarms are not needed

I second that i use a gt thunder revalve resprung shock with mx linkage and stock swinger works great!

get a pep pb1 rear and a walsh swinger and link if u want the best

I'm pretty sure there is no such thing as a PB1 rear.

I run a JB Racing pull rod/PEP ARC Rear on one bike and a Walsh pull rod/FOX Podium on my other bike.

The 2 pull rods measure the same extact lengths, but I'd have to give JB Racing the edge only because there is more material around the mounting bolt journals compared to the Walsh.

As far as the shock goes, I'll have to give my PEP the edge over the Podium. It works a bit better then the Podium in every aspect of my style of riding(MX).
