Nissan Maxima

Alright. I was originally getting an Altima. That deal fell through so i bought my cousins 2003 Nissan Maxima Se with 79,000 miles for $6000.

It needs a little bit of body work but Im not to concerened with that as it is my first car.

Me and my brother are tinting the windows and throwing in two 12" subs.

I want to get an exhaust for it but dont want it to sound ricey. Any good sounding exhausts for this car? Any other things I should look into for it?

Dont put any exhaust on it and leave it alone, if you do put an exhaust on not only will it sound like junk (they all do) but the cops will follow you like a magnet

If you do get an exhaust get a Borla, theyre stainless steel and sound great. I had one on my v6 eclipse and it sounded great. Not ricey at all

I have an '02 Maxima SE and have had it since new...

A couple years ago, I put a stainless system on it from Cattman Performance...check out his deals over at maxima.org. It is the only system I would recommend...still looks and sounds like it did new. And its not ricey sounding at all...its actually really deep and has a nice rumble to it...
