Just finished up the wiring in the box, for the batt, solenoid for the bike. I got to say its a damn tight fit, with all that crap in the box.. What ya think?? This is about the final thing, then I can put fire into the beast. Just waiting on my plastics for maier, a shifter to show up, a few things from powder coat(brackets, exhaust hangers).. :D

Thanks fellas. I could have possibly made it a tad neater, but wth it is the air box. lol

As far as the make of the box I am not sure, nore is there a name on it anywhere. I do no it fits great, seems to be a decent piece.. I picked it up on ebay like 2 years ago for really cheap.. i would like to put a lid on it however...

I was really considering putting that in there, but it will be supper crowded there.. I may still do that, it would def make the arse of the bike CLEAN.. Will see..

first off yes even other brands are a tight fit to get all that in the box.

second, with a k&n filter its worse cus they dont give.

third, i ordered a 18x18 sheet of outerwear material for my airbox lid and got some sticky velcro strips. one thing i do suggest is that u have someone fold the edges over and sew it so it dont frey, put your velcro were u want it on the box one piece at a time and do opposite corners, that way it will square up on the box nicely, it adds a water and dirt repellent lid without sacrificing air flow. i also have the outerwear on the filter itself too.

or you can spend insane amounts of money for a pre-made one. or if it is insane performance box they do make lids i believe u can order.

That's a very clean install, nice job Thumpin440ex

That box looks extremely similar in construction to my UM aluminum airbox. Except mine doesn't have the provisions to mount the electrical accessories inside the box. It came with a small bracket to mount them on the subframe instead. I like your setup better!
