just wondering what is the best reeds to run on this thing ?? pyramids, rb2000s,will v-force 3's do??
also carb ,what size u recomend???
i have a 38mm airstryker atm will it work for the 410?? if so how much jet sizes should i go up roughly???

I have a like new 41.5mm TMXX that would work well. I ran it 2 times and it has about 2 hours of ride time on it. I purchased a ton of extra main and pilot jets. Let me know if you are interested. The tmxx will give you better lowend and topend power than a 40.5pwk.

The TMX is a more advanced carb. The circuitry allows for better low end performance and it is larger than the 40.5 so it will flow more. Especially on a 410 where he has a 6mm stroke and his efficiency is already thrown out the window. No one here has to take my word for it. 99% of you have never used one so your 2 cents have no value here. Call eddie and he will tell you the same thing.

As for just trying to sell the carb... I have had it for a year and never thought about selling it. Just saw the post and thought I could help someone out.

bigger cyl draws less fuel ....... im running way less jetting than i ever had with a 310

I agree with less fuel but you are looking at it the wrong way. If that were the end all be all we could run 38mm airstrykers on 400+cc motors. Less fuel but much higher volume per stroke. The rest of that is filled with air. The larger the carb the more you can move. You should test your idea and put a stock 34mm on your 350 and see how it runs you know you can get enough fuel from it.

i don't know about the less fuel statement. to many variables there rpm, ignition, porting, pipe and head design.using the 39mm kehin that i had on my 265 i went from a 48 pilot and 180 main to a 52 pilot and a 200 main. :huh

will got it in
the vibration is unbelivable
all new bearings thru out
vibrations are so bad my headstay broke along with silencer and pipe mounting
what is the best way to resolve this ???
cheers scott

are you sure that you place the dot correctly at the balancer and crankshaft ??
it have no reason to vibrate like that !!
do you have a brand new crankshaft ??

About the fuel statement my 370 with a 40.5 had a 175 main and 52 pilot. You tell me what you believe. I also used a TMXX on both my puma and 370 and the puma ran a leaner jetting than the 370 with 60 more cc cant remember the exact mains but I was shocked.

If CT set it up it will vibrate more than usual. They do not balance cranks. Like someone else said check your dots. The 410 will vibrate. 80mm piston with a 78mm stroke is going to be a little rough.

you will see some more vibs. how old is your frame?

bansheeboyo

frame is a 88 ,no never got a new crank took it to my local ktm dealer who said it was with in the tollerances,
im going to go with a trx11 pipe i think
this motor hauls ,i am currently running a 38 a/s on it till i get a 41.5 from the states, was in third on greasy road ,pottering along gave it gas and all hell broke loose ,truly epic motor.
It might be drag ported ,but its got real good bottom end .
OFICCIALY HOOKED :D
oh i went from a 165 jet to a 190,but dose seem a little rich, but going to wait till i get new pipe to jet correctly ,as im running a pt 89 race pipe atm with no silencer ,,,,cause its broken

any brand of gasketsdo the job.
put little bit of tree bond 1104 on the base gaskets just where is narrow on the side.
