What setup should I go with for trials and freestyle? It gets old bottoming out on some stock shocks. I want to keep the stock a-arms, so some shocks that are nice for jumps on the stock setup. If someone has a nice pair for sale, throw me a pm.

I'm also looking to grab up an axle and hubs. Something that will fit the stock carrier and etc..from the stock axle. Can't afford to buy the sprocket hub and brake hub, after buying shocks and an axle/hubs.

If anyone has any that is in nice condition and selling it, send me a pm.

For shocks and on a budget go with the 450R shocks. With the axle, most come with a sprocket up and the stock 400 brake hub and axle nut normally work unless it specifically says it needs something different.

If I were you I would buy a used pair of YFZ 450 shocks for the front and a Gforce axle for the back...you could probably pick up shocks for around 200 bucks and a G force axle is around 200. Thats what my set up is and I love it...the shocks are great over stock!

What kind of mods for the yfz shocks to mount?

You just have to grind the top mount on the shock down..heres mine when I did it:
This is before...stock on the left and yfz shock on the right

Then after top mount was grinded down

I love them...they are 100 times better than stock!
