what model cobra ? We raced them successfully for the past 3 yrs, once you get them figured out they rock.

There are many people that are happy to help you out with the little things.

( MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE A COBRA EXPERT CHECK YOUR MOTOR IF IT IS A NEW ONE, SOMETIMES THE TOLERANCES ARE OFF AT THE FACTORY. ( ALSO CHECK THE JETTING YOUR SELF AS THEY ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE FROM THE FACTORY)

It is a 2008 70 frame, with a cr 85 motor, JB a-arms, and swing arm, with Motowoz shocks. It seems to be put together well, the previous owner stated that the swing arm pivot bolt is prone to coming loose, and the rear wheel hubs also. Was just trying to figure out what problems other owners may have had. He also said that the frames are bad for cracking underneath the front of the seat, he had a gussett kit installed, but said to keep an eye on that area, any other area's known for breaking?

Since you have a Honda engine and JB/Honda front end you should be good to go. Those two things were the main things we had problems with. A good welder will come in handy for sure.

We gusseted every corner on the frame, and put cross members at the front shock towers and never broke a frame last year with a 115 lb rider. ( could have been the motowoz shocks too)

as far as a swingarm bolt, get longer one and drill a hole through it and put a cotter pin through and your problem is solved.

As far as the hubs go, they are worn at the splines, call john heath he has a box of them. ( ALSO USE WASHERS TO KEEP PRESSURE ON THE NUT AND COTTER PINS.)

THESE THINGS HOLD UP PRETTY WELL IF YOU DO THIS BEFORE THEY BREAK.

ALSO USE A TIG WELDER ON THE FRAMES IF YOU MIG WELD IT IT WILL CRACK JUST BEYOND THE WELD.

JUST A FEW TIPS. GOOD LUCK.
