So I've never really had my "own" thread with pics of my 400 so I thought I make one now that I am "finished". If I get the money I may put a graphics kit and maybe front hipers.
What I'm wondering right now is if I should leave my fronts alone, paint them black, or buy some used Hipers to match the back.

B.T.W- I got a black ring thinking a red ring on black for the rear and a silver front would look funny. I'm pretty happy with it.

The tires still have 20lbs. in them right now because I waiting at least 24 hours to put them down to about 6. (Just put them on today)

Day I got it...

As it sits today...

From the back, the Hipers must be a different offset than my stock wheels so that's why I'm leaning towards get a set for the front

Just want to say thanks to everyone on this forum for answering some of my noobie questions, keeping it interesting and I'm sorry if I've ever given any bad advice in return.

Front, this was actually a couple months ago but hasn't changed any since then.

One more from the other side, you can see why red rings might be a bit overkill with a red exhaust, handguards, plastics, etc.

Looks nice.

For the front rims I would get black rings, it makes it look more balanced.

Are those stock a-arms?

Do you still have the OEM grip donuts on with the odi grips? Couldn't tell in the pics.

Thanks, yea i would prefer to get black and yes they are stock a-arms. A couple of people have said it looks wider than stock but that may just be an illusion of teh kfx shocks, idk.

O and about the grip donuts they are FX i think and say HONDA on em

Not an illusion. The KFX shocks are shorter than the stock ones which widens up the front.

Actually they are the exact same length as stock shocks, just they have some droop unlike stock shocks. I think kfx shocks make the 400ex's look so much better.

So I've this thing 3 times since putting the new tires on and I'm pretty happy with how they are grabbing. I can slide a bit if I want but not for long then it wants to grab and tip. I think they are like the stock KFX tires, i'm not sure though I just got em because they were 40 bucks each at rocky mountain atv.
I had bald stockers on there before this and couldn't really climb anything but now I'm hitting all of em again. :D

So all in all a decent tire, decent brand (dunlop), good price, and a 4 ply rating. Like I said 40 dollars for each so I have 80 dollars worht of rear tires when my friends spent 180 and aren't climbing anything I'm not. They are 20x10x9 btw but seem bigger than the ohstu 20x10x9.

You're right, I don't know what I was thinking haha. I thought they were longer when I lined them up with my stockers, but I was thinking about them being thicker. Now that I looked at the pictures again, they are the same length. I agree they make the bike look a lot better, especially with extended arms.
