Drr 70 intermittent starting.

I'm working on a drr 70. Sometimes it will start and run fine and sometimes it won't fire. I have by passed the kill switch and done a few other things. Tried new plugs etc. Anyone with help would be appreciated. Yhanks

you need to run a ground from the frame to motor it sounds like. make sure its a clean connection. Hope this helps

I run that wire like u said. Didn't help. When I first worked on the bike I had to run my own ground wire for the cdi box. I've by passed the kill switch. Now it's like nothing works. But the battery has good voltage

Sounds like a saftey switch.

is this quad running a stator or a PVL? I had a kasea do the same thing a few years ago and the stator was going bad. It would run fine one day and not at all the next. Took me a week before I finally replaced the stator and bam that fixed it.
