I have an 05 400ex and the needle isn't adjustable, needing help finding an older needle thats adjustable. Can't seem to find anyone besides honda that sells one individually. Was just wondering if anyone knew where I can get one. I've got washers on mine right now to just get my carb adjusted for now but need to get an adjustable needle.
I've got and HMF slip-on, K&N filter, aftermarket cdi box and approxamately 500 to 700 on sea level.
42 pilot jet, 155 main, 1.5 or 2 turns on F/A screw and 2 washers on the needle which I think would be about 2nd or 3rd clip on an adjustable needle.
Any help or suggestion would be appreciated first time messing with carb jetting and I really don't want to burn up a piston or over heat the motor.
