a local guy did my motor... it was around 800$ i think but there was some discounts here and there and stuff... i'm not sure on actual price... i go the guy a bear and i only had to pay 700$ of it and i got like 5 free valve jobs... but anyways...

the porting was 220$ i know... and the cam was 205+ stock cam... he did all the work on it...

he has built national motors for quads for a ex pro named rick meyers... he use to run the gnc series... his quads got 1 2 and 3 in the pa state drags last year also... so he knows his stuff...

his record is only having one 400 come apart on him and it wasn't his fault... the guy put the oil filter in backwards and it blew up...

i could talk to him about doin exriders motors.... i dunno if he will though... its like a 2nd job for him and hes backed up always with locals...

sounds nice, but i dont have that much to spend, im just going to get the cam, pipe, piston, and then later on make it nicer

yeah but i handed him the motor outta the frame and said go to town... i told him i wanted a bore, cam, piston, and smooth bored carb and thats what he picked out as the best combo for me...

i wanted a 416 but he built a 406 b4 mine just like mine and he knew all the jetting and stuff already... so i told him 406 it is...

if u do it urself i bet u could get it all for 500$

500 sounds like what i was looking for, but i donw know how to modify a carb, but i am planning to get a

rear shock rebuild
front rezzys
416
cam
pipe

c&d gave me a total for 1450 for all this but im going to shop around some more.

I'd say bump the mofo up toa 42 pilot and a 165 main should do it..I ran the 165 main with mine and NO airbox lid...
