I was just wondering what your PSI is in your Elka front SHocks? I just measured mine yesterday and they were 50 and 55 PSI on a YFZ 450 Quad Rate with Rezzies. Is there any specific number it should be or no? I was just wondering if anyone every plays around with them enough to know what the setting should be or if it is just based on my prefference. Any help is appreciated, Thanks Chris.

they are supposed to have around 150PSI i believe, its also nitrogen and not compressed air

ok well then would i have to have mine rebuilt being they are low? if not then is there a way of somehow getting nitrogen into the rezzies, thanks chris. they feel fine i was just wondering b/c it says not to exceed 200 PSI and mine are so low

they at least need to have the nitrogen refilled. You can't use a normal air pressure gauge on most atv shocks because there is such a small volume of the nitrogen that you let most of it out in the process. How long have you had the shocks? Are they leaking any oil?

ok i see...well they are not leaking oil and i have had them for a few weeks now...there isnt really anything wrong with them from what i can tell. OK so where would you recommend getting the nitrogen refilled at?

pretty much any place that services atv shocks should be able to do it. I would see if there are any places within an easy driving distance. I don't know what part of Ohio you are in, but GT Thunder is in Millersburg. I'm sure there are others.

i am not familiar with shocks but i know you can get nitrogen in your car tires. a tire place might be able to do it for you

lol o ok i figured that ur name was Chris as well thats why u said that. yea i got them refilled at an ATV place already, took the bike to Wellsville and it rides nice...now the back one is starting to go, UGH! The back one is stock so i miles well look into an aftermarket one.

tire place isnt going to be precise enough for that and they also probly dont have the right gauge
