now that the snow is gone, i'm finally getting around to finishing my axel swap . in case anyone is interested. i instaled a lonestar ds 450 axel in my ds 650. pretty simple. use the stock 650 carier, all 450 axel part's . the onlything i have to modify is the caliper carier, i'm using a dual caliper from a ktm 450 dirt bike. the benifits are lighter, 520 sprocket, honda bolt pattern, just use the ds 650 lug nuts.

yes, i have honda beadlocks on it . just had to use ds 650 lugnut. they are the same bolt patern. but i beleve the the 450 lug's are tapered . and the honda needs the flat ds 650 style.

what 520 sprocket did you use on the motor?

a sprocket from a bmw f650. it uses the same motor. you just need to add an extra washer behind the sprocket.
