Canondale vs. 406ex

My freind just got his new canonbal 440 and he has been talking mad sh$t that it will smoke my 406 and my freinds ds650. I want to know it it will and I have a smaller front sprocket is it worth it to put it on or does it not make that much difference. We only race for about a 100 yard strip have any of you raced a canondale.

it depends on what else you did to your 406. if it's really high compression, and have a good cam, and good exhaust and good carb you might beat him but it will be close. most likely he will probably be able to beat you, unless you have a lot in your 406ex.

list what you have in it and we'll see.

white bros pro meg full exhaust
white bros track cam
port
K&N\
hinson clutch
white bros rev limiter
it all was $1200

I can beat a ds 650 with a pipe and different carb on it. It is close but then i toast him at top end I really like my 406 and it really runs good for what it is.

Do you race with the 16 tooth when I did that it was slower in a short race but in the top end it was good my stock 15 really makes it quick you should put it back on.
