Hey all,
well after almost 3 years my long term project 460ex is finally done!
I'll post up a mods list sometime soon when i have some more time thought i'd just post sum pics for you all to check out, let me know what ya think.
A big thanks to everyone on the forum who has helped me out at times with info and tips.

thats awesome, its one of the better looking 460s ive seen because alot of people i know that have them spend all the money in the motor and its ulgy

Thanks guys really appreciate the positive feedback.
I will try and get a video posted real soon when i can get one done. I runs real good so far havent had the chance to run against a 450 yet but when I do will let ya all know how i go, have noticed however compared to the 450s I have ridden in the past it seems to have good amounts of torque and will pull hard from almost no revs, its a stack of fun to ride, it goes hard but is very rideable. The only thing I have noticed is the usual EX top end tap has got louder even though it is mostly new but I have talked to other guys with 460's who hae said the same thing but have never had any issues so I guess i'll just keep a check on things ad see how it goes.
Here's my mod list, theres probably little things ive missed, but this is the main of it, I'm an Aussie so it was quite hard for me to source some of the parts but i got there eventually, thinking of entering the next quad of the month but not sure yet.
P.S. for all you guys out there on a budget it can be done, I just waited for good specials and second hand stuf I could do up myself and eventually it all came together.

Engine:
Lukes racing 460cc stroker kit with 12.5:1 CP piston and hot rods +4 crank
Ported head by Pure Performance engines (these guys were a pleasure to deal with)
new bearings throughout
Kibblewhite valves, valve guides and valve springs
stg 3 hot cam
EBC dirtracer clutch
secondary oil cooler fitted as per the four stroke tech kit with custom mount and battery cradle on front of bike.
450R carb
Sparks Racing X6 exhaust
GT thunder head studs
stock ignition at this stage but DynaTek unit ordered
Outerwears airbox lid
tinners air scoops

Frame and suspension:
Frame painted cbr1100 limited edition candy phoinex blue
Bare performance gusset kit
Burgard +3's
Laegers +1 1/4"swinger
Tcs racetech built LTZ front shocks with triple rate spings and ZPS
and 400ex dual rate rear
Streamline braided brake lines
ITP XCR tires all round (20" rear 21"front)
ProArmor fatpeg nerfs and swingarm skid
Magnum posilock axle nut
AC racing look bumper and frame skid
Lonestar racing axle
Maier Racecuts with K&K tribal flame graphics
Renthal fatbars with Powermad handgaurds
switches removed with single start/kill buttons in place.

nice.460 your mod list looks great but i do have one suggestion you might need to switch to an 8 plate clutch kit.i had a new barnett clutch kit on my bike that held up ok on my 460 until i switched to the fcr carb and full exhaust.the bad thing about it my clutches still looks good but they couldnt hold the power it was slipping so bad in 4th gear i couldnt get enough speed to switch to 5th.

Like the style of plastic you have, blue hubs, black rims, and blue frame. Looks sick like that man.

Here are a few pics of mine, it actually looks different but it takes some time for me to get around to uploading the new pics.

It has some custom stickers, honda wings, punisher skull on the front,
it's cleaned up more, rims are black,
Powermadd handguards, (actually came from my last 300ex so I gotta redo those faded things) I'll get the pics soon.

I'd also like to see what a 250r hood
looks like on this maier race cut fronts.
If anyone have a few pics, please pm me.
And maybe some Raptor headlights on the 400ex, or atleast some headlights. Prefer custom mounted places, dont want to buy those trailtech ones.
