Looks good but 45 minutes is a long time, LOL. I didn't go all fancy with the brackets. I used some heavy zip ties and haven't had any problems in almost a year. I check them every once in a while to make sure they are still holding fine. So far so good.

I wanna see the zip tie job too.

To the OP- it seems like that the open space there at the bottom of the cooler wouldn't allow the fan to pull very much through, although plenty have done it so I am sure that it does. Which part number fan did you buy and from where?

It still has over 90% of the fan pulling through the cooler, its fine. Its actually temporary til I mount my oversized cooler. The fan is the same fan everybody else on here runs. I got it brand new off eBay for $35 shipped. Just Ebay Spal 4 inch pull...

I have not taken any temp readings yet, but when I do I'll let you know.

Here you are my good man. I saw there were other guys that did this (in the SPAL install thread) so that is why I did it this way. Just made life a lot easier and I haven't had any problems so far and I ride hard in the woods.

How do you wire it up? Everybody shows how to mount it, but dont show or tell how to wire it....

Just a basic 3 terminal rocker switch with inline fuse (mine is lighted similar to CTC B4Z). Negative, 12V to switch, 12V from switch to fan.
