What can I use for engine assembly if the non-moly based lubes aren't available?

Any auto parts store or auto engine machine shop should carry it. Look for one that carries Sealed Power products.

I Think Klotz makes the best one.

Torco has a great assembly lube that comes in a nice squirt bottle.

You can alway use motor oil if you don't have any assembly lube. That is all I use at work. ;)

So any assembly lube will work. The Hotcam install page says to use a non-moly based lube. It says the moly based lubes will harm the clutch. Will it really do that much or should I just use the widely available moly based?

yes, if you are needing the assembly lube for cam installation, your safest bet is to use the same oil that you use in your machine, that way you aren't mixing weights or brands of oils. Using oil for that application works just as well as any assmebly lube that you will buy.
