I have been wanting another quad for a longg time now and I have found my best bet is to just get a Blaster! (I came off of a 2003 400EX about a year ago)
I am an agressive trail rider, however I do like to sometimes putt around, but if there is a field I am going balls to the wall down it! This leads me to my question: Which would be a better swap for my needs?

Blaster 200 Bored out to a 240 with an Toomey B-1 Pipe and some other trail goodies

OR

Blaster 200 with a YZ250 motor installed. The motor would have a 13oz. Flywheel Weight, FMF Gnarly pipe, v-force reeds, and some other trail goodies

So please choose which you think would be a better trail bike then choose which you feel that would be the cheapest, yet affective way.

Remember, I am a 240LB aggressive trail rider, not a 110LB novice Motocross racer... :P

Thank You!
Colton W.
(Any input would be appreciated!)

***GUYS YOU CAN VOTE FOR BOTH THE BETTER TRAIL QUAD AND THE MOST COST EFFECTIVE METHOD - AND PLEASE DO!***

You can't bore a 200 to a 240. You have to change the cylinder completly. Anyways, As long as it was built right I would get the 250 it will have alot more power. What about the suspension, because the stock is sh**.

you are way to big for a blaster. and there is no way a blaster would ever run near a yfz you shouldn't even mention them in the same sentence lol Even if you totally mod out the blaster with custom everything and yz motor the chassis still is a huge disadvantage unless you are a 12 year old kid that weights 90 pounds.

Your better off buying a bigger quad

So let me get this right....you came off of a 400ex and now you want to downgrade to a smaller less capable quad and you're double the size for what it's good for?

Man step back and rethink this.

You need something larger.
