Top speed of a stock YFZ450R whould be about 85-90. Add a pipe, filter, etc & that will put you around 100. I've had mine for a couple months now & have had 0 problems. I bought insurance on mine which costs me $236/year. Can't beat that deal. SLap you a pipe on & get a better air filter & you'll be running as fast as you want to go. The body peices are hard to get back into their original places, though. That's a very minor issue. It taks about 1.5 minutes to get all the body peices off, but about 15 minutes putting them back on. You'll love it. I love mine!

Yeah, but it gets pretty squirrely once you pass 75-80. Why would you want to go that fast? When would you ever get up to that speed? Oh, & take the airbox lid off!

Most all sport quads of the new generation are around 74 give or take. 90 is a faer stretch with out gearing changes and such.

Dude you must be smoking some serious good stuff. It will do around 75 at the most with stock gearing no matter what mods you have done. If you regear you could get some more speed but not even close to 90.
