to anyone who has experience on any of these, which did you like best? ups and downs of them? from what i've heard the r6 is more of a race bike, more aggressive seating and has more top end and stuff... i dont think ill be doing any racing or track riding much.

2007 and up cbr600rr

2006 and up gsxr 600 (or possibly 750 if i could find a good deal but they're usually pretty expensive

2006 and up R6

im probably not gonna be getting anything newer than about an 08 or so

If you weren't so far away my buddy is selling his 07 ZX-6R with ~3,800 miles on it, Yoshi exhaust, brand new Pirelli's for $4,000.

gsxr 750 is the way to go. I loved mine. Like my r6, but it was an 05. The 06's and up are a much better bike.

It seems streetbikes is completely on what your perfer. I've read 5 different shootouts on my bikes year and they all were ranked different haha.

Honestly... you cant go wrong with any of them. Reliablity, power, speed, everything is damn near the same. You probably wouldn't be able to notice the few minor differences anyway.

What ever you can get a better deal on grab!

To be honest the best way to decide is to just sit on them. They all feel different and are going to handle/ride differently. Power wise they will be nearly identical.

For example the ergonomics of the GSXR feel a lot more comfortable to me over the R6 and RR.

Cernic's had an 06 or 07 r6 a little while back for I think around 5800 or so. If you want to save some cash, seltzer's has a very nice 05 r6 for $3500 I believe.

Ive has a 2000 gixxer 600 and an 07 750. I was more afraid of the 600. The newer fuel injected bikes are so smooth and easier to ride. The 600 had a full yosh the carbs done K&N and dropped one tooth in the front so it moved off the line and would pull the wheel up all the time even when I wasnt expecting it. My 750 was all stock and in my mind perfect. The exhaust is just loud enough but not annoying and the newer bikes are balanced so much better.
