88 OEM hood with complete head light.

I have a white hood and head light from a stock 88 that is in near perfect condition. Everything works and is there. Will e-mail pics of it. I have no idea how much it is worth but awhile back I saw a thread about them where I believe it said they have some value. I am thinking about selling it but have no idea of its actual value. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. Thanks for your time and input

Stock 88 hoods were red if i remember correctly.

I belive they came in either color but it is possible its an 89 then? I don't think it is earlier cause they had a different headlight set up. Anybody else know?

if it's white it's a 89'. depending on condition it is worth between $100 and $400 if it's oem. If it's a maier it's worth $10 to $50. put up some pictures.

I tried posting pictures originally and was not able to. can anyone help me out and I will be happy to put some on. I believe the hood and light to be a true oem I just had the year mixed up. I could remember which bike I took it off of. I have an 86,88, and 89. The plastic that goes with it is oem so it must be.

I am very sure 1988 250r only came in red 1989 you had choice of red or white

88- red only!!
89- white only!!!

there was never any choices on these years like earlier models
