axle bearing question

Alright, so I got everything apart and cleaned up really good, but before i put the axle bearings in I was wondering if I should grease the carrier or anything before I put it all back together. And if so, what type of grease would be best. Also the bearings are sealed on both sides and I have a fresh pair of dust seals to go in as well.

im not 100% sure but i don't think you are required to greese them but you can and might have to give them light coat of greese to get them in smoother. you could prob use any kind of mechanics greese really.

those bearing come pregreased so no further grease is neccisary But those are not the best set up if you ride in any mud or water at all. only problum is I think you have to go with a aftermarket carrier to gat the greasable set up.

you should grease the center tube inside the carrier before installing the two bearings.
