its time for some new rear tires. i like the holeshots, and thats probably the way i'm gonna go. but i am having trouble with size. right now i have stock rubber. i am hoping to keep the same rims, but i dont want a set of balloons. i like the flat profile. as for riding, its mostly trails, mud, and pit riding. thanks

whats your question?

the 300ex has 9 inch wheel, any size that is xx-xx-9 will fit. the choice is yours on what tires

I pondered this same question for quite a while. I do the same kind of riding, trails, pits and the what not. I ended up ordering a set of the new Kenda Kutter XC's.

I went with the kenda klaw XCR cause i liked how you could flip them around for soft-medium and medium to hard.

Havent ridden it yet but anything has to be better then the turf tamers i had.

if its mainly trails you should prolly go with 20's

get a set of 20's rather than the 22's. that will fix the "bubble" of the large tires. maxxis razrs or kenda klaws is what i like. both have great bite, but the maxxis is a more predictable slide/drift tire. i like it better i the corners

I run the itp gncc's in the rear, 21x11x9. If you go with itp tires get a size bigger than you want cause they run a little small. My 21's are only about 1/2 taller than the stock 20's.

i think i found what i'm looking for. i settled on the artrax mxt-r.
mainly because they are cheap ($48 per tire) and look fairly aggressive
