what compression?

im gonna rebuild my 400 with a wiseco 416 piston stage 1 hotcam new timing chain ect. but im not sure what compression to go with i ride trails so the best gas i could get is 93 would 11:1 or no? thanks in advance

i also found a kit that comes with a magnum stage 2 cam is this a junk cam or what?

yes u can run 93 with an 11:1 piston
ive herd of the magnum cam b4 but never owned one or rode with one i always go with a hot cam well unless a buy a quad thats got something different in it already

ya to me they seem pretty cheap because you can get a whole 416 kit off of ebay with a magnum cam, wesico 11:1 piston, a new gasket set and a new cam chain for juz under 300$ on ebay

if i were u i would spend the extra like 20$$
and get the kit with the stg 2 hot cam

I think that would b your best bet and you could still run 93 pump gas

yea i saw that kit that was what i planned on going with. what jeting should i run?

well if your running a stock 400 carb i would start around 160 or so that still may b a lil lean

im not the best at jetting i juz do it as trial and error untill it seems the best

yea me too its just such a pain on the 400's to get the carbs off i guess ill leave all the plastics off untill i get the jeting right.

I jetted mine with the carb on the quad... just loosen the boot and turn the carb to the right side. worked for me
