Help!!!

i am in the process of putting my bike back together after painting the frame. i have all the electrical hooked up but i cant get the lights or the neutral light to work or the starter button. what is wrong?

You said you painted the frame, did you make sure all of your grounds are connected to clean bare metal as well as where the negative from the battery connects is clean and bare metal as well?

that is probably what i did wrong. if i put a washer in between the paint and ground wire would that work?

No, it needs to touch bare metal.

Sand down the frame in that spot and use some dielectric grease (or vaseline at least) to insulate it from rusting and put it all backtogether.
