Im looking for a nice looking handgaurd for trail riding.. I want something like the gaurds that come on the C-dale Blazes.. those look cool. I was thinking the MSR ones?

Any help?

Acerbis Rally Brush guards with clear spoilers..that setup will run ya about $75...

YOu can run with or without the spoilers..I chose the clear because I figured if I get caught in a rain storm while racing I can just squat down behind one of em and it'll act like a windshield...:huh :D

Rico. If you think one of those is gonna act as a winshield you are sadly mistaken. lol I have tried it many times. I was using colored spoilers and just driving where i thought the trail was. I ended up in a small creek and stuck for a little while.

Those are some sweet guards.

I think I am going to be running the Acerbis Light Flags. They are very small and perfect for MX. IMO.

Just enough protection and not alot of nuttin.

Yeah I like them a lot. Are they in the way of the Brake/Clutch lever at all? I have seen some that go right over the Clutch lever and I don't think I would like that. I like yours a lot though. Man them things are EXPENSIVE!!!

Get moose handguards. Very effective and very good price plus they don't hook to the end of your handle bar they look pretty sweet too:devil

Yeah Acerbis are overpriced if u ask me. U can get the same EXACT handguards that DONT sat Acerbis, and they are half the price. Maier Spoilers for the kind of hanguaurds I got are $7 retail. The Acerbis are $22!! Also the Hanguards Rico got retail for $60, and Maiers are $32. SO if you guys are going to spend the money on handguards, just a warning that Acerbis is WAY overpriced;) :D

That's my kill switch..LMFAO..plus I don't smoke no more..yea for me...:devil

I don't know much about the maier guards but the acerbis are made of very heavy HEAVY duty plastic,,that won't break or bend..I don't know what the maier's are but I'm quite sure the acerbis are of better quality..

That's almost like sayin Maeir plastic is better than full bore....:huh

Anywho buy what ya'll want that suits your budget..;)

hey how do those hand guards fit in with the clutch and break levers?

do you have to take the ball of the end of the levers?

I had to cut the ball off my break lever...and actually I like it better that way....:D Over all the guards do NOT effect the way you reach for the levers...
