Spindle swap ?

Does anyone know if there is any benefit to using 400ex or 450r front spindles with stock a-arms?

I use the 400ex spindles b/c the brake caliper bolts right to it. i tried the 450r's and the caliper mounting holes didnt line up. o yea have a nice set of 450r spindles w/ rotors and hubs cheap lol

don't do it. Although a lot of people do it I don't like it. We did it on Holdens XC quad and I never was able to git the push out of the front end. It throws the angle off on the tie rods.

This is not just me, several people at the GNCCs heard it was a good upgrade and tried it, I don't know of anybody still running them. Everybody goes back to the 300es spindles.

Keep your 300ex spindles

Thanks for the info. We are setting one up for XC also, heard it was an "upgrade" but I dont know anyone who has tried it. We'll keep her on the stock spindles

Doesn't Braden Henthorn run 400ex spindles? His 300ex must not push to bad because that boy is fast.

We run the 300ex spindles. And his quad handles like a dream. Y run the AWRCS series. Were u at the Summerset PA race we were there for that 1.

Nice track he likes that track. he say's it's really rocky and rough the way he likes tracks.

Yeah my daughter liked that one too! We like the AWRCS series a bunch compaired to the other alternatives in our area
