Currently I'm running a 16/39 combo. I think I want to go back to a 14 tooth sprocket up front. I'm hoping it would help with the launch and also low down where I need it most in the trails. It already ****s n gets with me (280lbs) and my GF (160) on it. But I find myself digging deep for them low gears in the trails when I feel I shouldn't have to.

Any advice?

nice videos. im guessing thats a stock banshee?? and your question about the gearing, yea a 14 would help alot in the trails. in the vids it sounds like theres quite a bit of spacing between your shifts, with a 14/39 you would be shifting alot faster between the gears in a drag race,. but in the trails you will have a little more torque to the wheels and you wont have to shift as often tring to keep in the power band.

Shee is stock yes.

Yea, it does take awhile inbetween when WOT. I'd like to keep my band closer together... looks like a 14 tooth is definate.

thank you

try pulling out in 2nd gear with the rpm up. also, go to a 15 tooth front. 14 will make your gears too short.

yea i always launch in second in a drag, with my 440 and a 14 tooth with 20 inch paddles i took tons of 450s and shees in 300 ft drags. i stand up and lean out way over the bars and it still picks me back up in 3rd sometimes. im only 135lbs with gear and all.

Wow, The first thing you guys need to do is invest in some riding gear. I'd Start with a Helmet. JMO

it looked to me like you were sleeping at the line on the first video and the second you kept up pretty well. as for the gearing I went to a 14 in front and love it in the trails but drag racing I'm real slow compared to what it used to be.

Wow, you guys are geared high for trails. I'm running 13/39 and love it. If you only drag race occasionally, losing torque in favor of speed is not worth it.

Yea I dont need speed, I like low end torque for our trails... 14 tooth it is...
