Alright, here we go. I have a 06 DRR 50, Placed a Koso 70cc cylinder on it , a Koso intake, Keihnin 20mm carb, as well as a uni.
Had a stock pipe on it. recently received a what looks like a hetrick or koso pipe. more a hetrick in my mind. I have a stock clutch and belt at this time. Have around 200-250 to invest into clutch kit. Whats the best juice for the sqeeze on the budget.

i would start with 4.25 rollers 2000 shoe spring and a ztr 1500 torque spring.

Stage 6 makes and adjustable clutch that you can
tune to where you need the power to be. We ran
one on our 70 with Great results.

Also I would run a 24 mm carb instead of the 20 IMO
good luck

i don't see you replacing the front and rear clutch plus the tuning parts you need for 250.00.I would replace the variator and use the stock clutch.I f you want to buy used i have a malossi clutch with the bell i would sell ya.you will be surprised how much what i suggested in my first post will help ya.o and like Jim said a 24mm would be best.If your ported to the max i would run a 28mm

yea, you can't buy a "better tuned clutch", you just have to adjust it. you can buy better parts that can help out on tricky setup problems, but just because you go out and buy a stage 6 or dr pulley front var or malossi belt does not mean you have your clutch locked in.

I'd start with what nasty suggested. that is pretty close for a 70, that is what we run. no other after market clutch parts needed. If you are needing a little more out of the bike in different ranges (more from 0-50 ft, or more from 50-100ft) depending on your tracks, then you might start looking at other parts.

A Eton that corey did for me had a clutch kit installed, recently replaced it with the one from the drr. Did not take it apart, just swapped it. the large spring is yellow, the quad doas not hit hard at all from the bottom. What color springs should be in the housing, guessing theres three. or is this a roller weight issue. stock set up pulled the wheels up. now it takes 10 foot to get up and go?

well since i posted in here the first time i have changed a couple things.I went to a 787 belt and shimed the variator and now i have way better bottom and topend power.i also changed the rollers and all this helped abunch. If my little guy had enough weight it would be pulling the wheels pretty high off the gate.

Here is 2 links for some great articles on tuning and setting up the clutch for a cvt. Each motor is different so what works on one might not work on another. That is Just a hard lesson I learned when we purchased our first CVT atv. Too many people sending me in different direction. Articles where written by George Szapponnos whom I was lucky enough to meet and purchase an atv off of. There is several articles also which are linked when looking up this article. Hope this helps

1500 torque spring, (red one) 4.25 rollers, 2000 clutch springs. Thing boogies now. ZTR are a stiffer spring from what I have read on the forum. I have a yellow spring, is that one more like the ZTR 1500 or is the red one closer.

from what I have been told the red is closer to the 1500 ztr
