Should I bother with the full floor ones or do the netted ones. This is only for trail riding.

Full floors +/-
+Most protection,
-Maybe the floor can bend?
-Maybe they are slippery?
-If I need some give when whatever happens they wont have it. Possibly damage leg/ankle.

Netted nerfs +/-
+Have the give
-Lesser protection from objects that may wind up in there or I may hit somehow.
+No slippage issue
-No bend issue.

So IDK, what do you think? I lean towards netted since I wont smash my ankle/leg to bits on it I think.

Skids, already have a pro-armor swinger so I think I should do .190 a-arm and .190 belly. I only trail ride so Im not needing to worry about weight so much as protection.

if i was going to get heal guards, i would get the netted ones. I have never heard anything bad about the skids either, i would get them if i had the money. I think they are .190 so that is pretty good for a decent skid thickness. I havent bent any rims with that thickness and i know that i have hit stuff harder with my rims than with my skids. lol. steve
