I just got done test riding the quad after installing the KFX450 shocks on the EX.
Installation took about an hour. Wasn't to hard, had to remove a lot of material for them to fit the top shock mounts.
After about an hour of riding the quad, I can say that this has made a bigger performance improvement than I ever thought they would.
I would go so far as to advise people to install these first before doing any internal engine work, they are the best shocks that I have ever rode on when installed on an EX while still using the stock a-arms.
After adjusting the shock settings, there is no difference in ride height at all.
I purposely over jumped some jumps and also purposely came up short on others, these shocks worked perfectly.
I also do not have the stock rear shock in-case that makes a difference. I have a Works Ultracross on the rear, the combination is simply amazing.
Simply put, this is the best $150 I have ever spent when modding a quad.
