2004 plastics on my 1997 300ex??

Hey Guys,
Do you know what would be involved in getting a set of 2004 plastics and seat to fit my 1997? Will they just slide on or will I have to make mounting brackets, etc?

they should go right on. from like 87-06 the bikes were the same besides kick start form 87-92

actually there is a lot more differences than that.

But yes, the 2004 plastic will work just fine.
