Ok I am just about ready to get the plastics and all ready to go on the bike.. I stuck the factory red ones on there, it looks hideous, so the honda read is def out... It turned the bike into a POS after it was on.. So now I am looking into 3 choices... BTW I am going to keep the headlights, full front fenders... :)
What you think of the 3, or even a choice of your own(Don't be stupid)

Maier
Carbon black
Carbon white
Gloss Black

Anybody running the carbon look stuff?? If so how well does it hold up.. I am really leaning towards the black carbon looks, as I think it will hide scratches a lil better then the standard black... Out of them 3 what you think will look best.... Thanks

John

my bud has the gloss black. they are a few years old and he beat the tar out of it, they still look good, not much mud in the scratches or anything

Well, I have had white in the past and do like it... but I found it was sometimes hard to keep up... stains, dirt in the scratches, etc...

My KFX 450R is solid black. Sometimes I'd rather it was solid lime green.

I started covering it real fast with graphics though. It scuffs and scratches so easy and every little thing just shows so much. Gloss black will look rough in no time.

I honestly think the only way to go with gloss black is almost full graphic coverage in black.... or have it clear skinned in clear graphic all over... which would have been the first thing I did, if I knew who would have made me some.

So I would not go with white or black.

Out of those choices, I would do the black carbon.

I have always liked Yellow pretty good too.

ya my buds gloss black is now more flat black but it doesnt really show up mud that bad. after you get so many scratches it all starts to blend together and look good again

I really like the white ones myself. My factory black ones are all covered up in scratches, probably just cover it up with some graphics.

I think I am going to order the maier black carbon plastics, thanks for the imput guys :D

As far as the tires, if the maxxis feel anything like holeshots, these tires def do not feel like them.. they have a fairly soft compond make up. They are light weight, but def better then the stock OEM tire...
