What am i doing wrong??

me and my brother both have 05 450rs both have rossier pipes his is long mine is the shorter one. im running a bored stock carb 13:1 compression and a early hrc cam. and hes stomping me with just a 943/921 web cam? riders are equal and i have the wieght side in my favor. races are on pavement rolling and dead starts. either way his jumps ahead early and keeps pulling. just put a different clutch in. im lost i dont know what im doing wrong more mods to go slower??

This might be a stupid idea, but if your new clutch isn't adjusted right it could be slipping some?

don't under estimate web cams..

as far as your mods go I would've deff used the money you spent on boring your stock carb to get an FCR carb..

we have swapped riders and i can tell his pulls harder. im gunna put a stock carb back on it. see what happens. i played with the jetting in the bored one with jets i had and i jumped from a like 200 to a 180 and i couldnt tell a difference and the quad starts and runs equally smooth on both. no back fire or missing so i just dont know.
