hey guys...

i was hoping someone could take minute or so to get a couple measurements for me.

i have a scotts stabilizer and they don't make a mounting kit for the ltr450. i'm just wondering if the kit for the trx would work on the ltr.

what i'm looking for is the width from inside the frame just in front of the steering stem.

also, the measurement from the front of the steering stem to the backside part of the vertial frame portion.

if anyone help me out with this, it would be mucho appreciated. :D

First one is 4 inches

Second one is ruffly 3 1/4" give or take a 1/16" with a stock stearing stem.

unfortunately, it won't work. the only reason i wanted to check was someone told me they bought a precision for the ltr and was told if they sell it it would also fit the yfz and raptor 700.

i checked scotts site and the part numbers for the mounting kit for the yfz/raptor 700 and the trx were the same. the only difference was the bottom piece that clamps it to the frame. the yfz and raptor have a gusset that the mounting kit bolts to. the trx kit just clamps to the frame.

if that makes sense at all. :blah:

i'm up in NH.

He's down off of Candia road.. Take 93 to Candia Rd, head east, The first light take a right on E. Industrial. He's in the blueish grey industrial buildings on the right (1/2 mile maybe)...

I used this guy allot when I was living up there... Little guy, real quiet.. Does good work.

I'm sure if you show him what you have and what you need he could whip up something...
