I slammed into a tree today & bent the rear axle of my 2010 YFZ450R. What do I need to search for to find another one? I don't know how long it is, or anything. Keep in mind, it's an R so it's wider than the normal ones. Also, how much is this gonna set me back? Thanks

Also, do you think that's covered under the warranty? Those things are not supposed to bend AT ALL, right?

I found the part number for the stock yfz450r axle. It's 18P-25381-00-00 & supposedly it's $340. Does that sound right or am I better off going with an OEM version like Lonestar or something? Are they less money?

I wouldnt think the warranty will cover it. There are several options and a wide variety of prices. Gforce is probably your cheapest way out and they are good axles the gforce lock nut sucks. Its cheap enough to buy really nice nut and still be cheaper than other axles. All the aftermarket axles are pretty nice.

My friend has bad banshee with dominator X-33 the hubs give him trouble.

Called about the axle. The warranty doesn't cover swelling of cahonas or the stupidity that sets in when they do swell, thus resulting in hardware damages. Oh well. How long is the axle anyway?

Here's the problem. Nobody can get an adjustable one around here because it's such a new bike. I don't want to go buy an axle to fit a 2009 & it somehow, magically not fit.

If you would have told me that on Friday, I would have bought it from you. I ordered a stock axle & am having it put on Tuesday. Soryy, dude. Thanks for the offer, though. If I bend this new one any time soon, I'll look you up.

It's too late for me, bro. They already have my quad & the axle. They put it on in the morning. Sorry.
