For about 2 years the bike set.. I had intensions of putting it back together stock, other then new bars and wheels.. Well I just can't do it like that, im not programed to do so LOL.. It must always be faster, nicer.. It is a sickness that I am sure alot of us share.. I am a prick when it comes to things being clean and pratical.. Might add ASR clutch and brake levers.. The rest of the mods are in me sig :D Only other thing on the list(not now is for a new swinger) Any how.. Some pics of my progress.. WHAT YOU GUYS THINK??

Thanks for looking

John :)

As far as the chrome work goes, I bought them like that, was very surprised that the 102$$ price tag for them came with such great quality chrome...

Will def let ya know on how I like them, there performance

I hope that it walks the dog on the 450.. I think I shouldn't be to far behind on HP from it, I have changed my gearing on the 400 :)

The shocks are much better. I tore them apart, put a 3/4'' spacer in them, to shorten them up. In turn lowered the bike about a 1'' by eyeball, the new ball joint angles are much better imo.. I don't think this will hurt me at all, as I do not plan to go racing pro anytime soon, do 99% of my riding in the woods..

You put a spacer in the shock or you spaced the spring? Got any close ups of that? Curious how a spacers makes things shorter?

I took, pulled the shocks apart, like the rods-pistons out of the tubes.. I removed the pistons off the shock rods.. The spacer that I machined down, I took and slid it onto the rod, then put the piston back on.. So now there is that spacer between the piston and the bottom of the shock tube, so that the piston now bottoms out on the spacer not the shock tube.. Might be hard to understand, unless you know what they look like inside.. Here is a half *** sketch, the spacer must go infront of that lil spring(grey in the sketch) on the bottom of the piston

I picked the arms up off ebay, didn't really want them, left for work one morning, put my bid in for ****s and giggles, when I came home it said I won them.. LOL

Yah I am digging the carbon/grey plastics, but also am thinking about a all black plastic set up. I have the red(factory) on there now and it just makes the rest of the bike look like total AZZZ..

Ok so I ordered the maier full front fenders, along with the rear, in carbon black.. Should be here this week, along with the HMF full polished exhaust.. I would have went race cut front because I really like the look, but they do not offer it with the headlights in the stock place, I dig the stock lights on the bike.. I will post up pics as soon as it is on.. Should have it fired up the first time in like 5 years this weekend. WHOOOO I am stoked... :D Hope it satisfies me in the power department
