batt wont stay charged and its good

will start a couple times and than its dead,ive tried 2 new batts same results any suggestions

I just went through this, drove me crazy, had to replace my stator and rectifier, also had to clean up all , electrical connections.

Do you know how to check and see if stater is bad and also thanks for the reply its bean driving me crazy,pretty much got a collection of batts know.

Mine read that it was charging at 13.67 volts all the time, and that was what threw me for a curve, I thought the stator was ok, but I kept going through batteries. I have 3 worthless batteries sitting in my garage. I grabbed a stator off eBay for $120, got a new rectifier to be safe, and now its working perfect.
