Has anyone figured out what to do with the stock plastic piece on the handlebars of an '07 when replacing with aftermarket Renthals. I can't just remove that plastic piece since it has the ignition, reverse and neutral light on it. Or would i be better off just making new holes in the body for those things and throwing away the plastic piece?

I put the ignition opposite the reverse switch (left front fender) and I put the neutral/reverse lights right under the bars on the plastic piece that sits on top of the tank.
