NEED HELP yfz start button wont work

Hey haven trouble with my 07 yfz just got it and the elec is kinda a mess. the first day the start button worked every now and then but then stoped, put a new button on worked at first but now not at all, put and brand new battery in . when i bump start it runs great. when i cross the starter solanoid it starts right up. I looked up diagrams on here to remove all the junk but the only ones i found are for kick start. any help on here would be great. have a race sun so im loosing alot of good practic time,

get a voltage tester and check the solenoid. unhook the ground, make sure it is clean, and rehook it back up. You may have a wire broken or bare and grounding out aginst the frame.

finaly found the problem. the starter relay was bad, fixed it now kill switch wont work.

Are you talking about an aftermarket kill switch, or the on off switch on you quad?

my starter switch is the same way. It's a little sensitive, i have to push it in just right!

there is a loose wire behind the control button, i just haven't got to it.

i found out that it was the starter relay, so i bypssed it till the new relay comes in. but after i did that the teather kill wont work. im just gonna order a kicker for it soon. race quads were not ment to have alll this elec junk on them.
