OK went out to the dunes this Sunday and my bike was running strong all day long and then i hit the last hill for the day shut it off and bam would not start pulled the choke and it would start put the choke back in and it dies it will act like it has the fuel off you know just revs up with no throttle was going to tear into it today but the darn rain started before i could i just got the compression checked and its good 180 i live in UT so that's still good think i have a jet clogged but just wanted to hear what some of you think to get a jump on it thanks guys

i've seen the needle clips wear thin and break in the past that would have symtoms as you describe but it could be a clogged pilot jet aswell.

That's what happened to me was the needle clip broke....right in the middle of a race I was winning...oh well...sh*t happens.

broke the clip but i found one of the peaces but not all of it should i take the top end off to make sure

well it shouldnt have made its way past the side..... but then again it could have gone through the hole for needle. go simple first.... pull the exhaust first en work ur way back.
