making scoops.... any tips tinner?

well, anyone have any tips on how to make scoops? i have a pattern from jb400exxx but anyone have any tips or anything... how did u mount urs? it is expensive to ship across the border what with canadas dollar sucking so i figured id make scoops for canadian customers:macho

i think mine are a lot like tinners.

I do know tinner makes an original and very nice designed scoop...so my advice is think very hard where you want to mount, how you want the airflow, and anything else involved and make and test some of your own. Anyone can copy someone else's work it's his original design and creativity that got his made. Later

tinner is a nice guy but he worked hard on designing those scoops hes not gonna give his design away...i love mine though...best 40 bux i ever spent :cool:

he made some custom scoops and his are mounted. I have yet to put mine on.

no i didnt want tinner to give away his idea i just wanted to know if mounting in 2 places is good or 3 and how to mount them. tinenr makes awesome scoops and even if i sell mine it wont make a difference to his sales... im sure hes doing quite good for himself... and yes jim is a very nice guy i wouldnt screw him
