Headlight Bulb Question

Going to be ordering a HID kit from ddmtuning since i ride alot at night. Going to be ordering this 35 watt kit http://www.ddmtuning.com/index.php?p=product&id=101&parent=85 . Does the 2005 400ex take the H6M bulb like the older ones or does it take a different one?

Should take the H6.

Word to the wise, I looked into this and discovered you lose hi/lo if you do this.

You won't really need high or low once you are done with it will you? These shine so much brighter and farther.

RockyMountainATV lists it has a h6m, not sure if they are correct or not.

Yea they are much brighter so you dont need hi/lo really but I prefer the hi/lo myself.

If you wire in some relays right off the batteries to the hi/lo switch since the original wires run to the switch and it steps down the power you will also notice a difference.

I also checked bikebandit.com and they list the same part number for a 2001 that they do for a 2006, so it should all be an h6m bulb.
